Burton unveiled the uniforms for the 2010 US Olympic Snowboard Team last night at their Soho store. Burton colloborated with potential Olympians to come up with the uniforms.
“Since its inception, Burton has been a rider driven company,” said Jake Burton, Founder and Chairman of Burton Snowboards. “For the creation of the US Snowboard Team uniform, we listened carefully to the riders’ needs and used their input to ensure that the final fit, fabrics and overall design would maximize their performances and take these riders to the podium. It was also absolutely critical to ensure these Olympic uniforms were worthy of bearing the Burton name.”
The jackets, which come in a regular and a puffy for both men and women, are a preppy red, white and blue plaid. The pants have the look of distressed denim. Both pieces are made of Gore-Tex fabric, which will probably be good in the often wet climate of Vancouver.

I think this uniform is awesome. i especially love the jacket. Not so sure about the pants. I feel like there should be a hint of red and white on them. Or maybe a little US Flag on one of the thighs.
love the jackets. Not sure bout the pants either, I’d like not worn denim more than this. But it’s personal opinion I suppose.
