We never realized how many snowboard companies were based in Portland, Oregon until reading this article from the Oregonian. Grenade, Bonfire, Holden, Betty Rides, Nike, Dakine, Airblaster…just to name a few. They speculate that the attraction may be year-round riding at Mt Hood, and talk to Powderroom friends Mike LeBlanc of Holden and Bonfire’s Rian Rhoe.
One day we’re going to move to PDX too.
