This is my third week of my Winter Fitness Challenge using the Nike Training Club app! I wanted to mix up my workouts a bit this week. Even though I decided in the first week my goal was going to be Get Toned, the app doesn’t lock me into that goal. So I’m free to pick workouts from any of the goals: Get Lean, Get Toned, Get Strong, Get Focused.
The Get Focused section has lots of workouts that target certain areas and are 15 minutes long. I did the Shoulder Ripper and if how my shoulders is any indication..it works! I like that I can switch up my routines or add one of these Get Focused workouts to my other workouts.
I also switched things up this week by choosing some Get Toned workouts in another level. I have been doing the Intermediate Level but I wanted to try one of the Beginner workouts. I’m so glad I did because I got to jump rope! Jumping rope always makes me feel like I’m eight years old again.
I’m really happy with my progress using Nike Training Club. It’s been a convienient way to add some strength training into my very cardio focused fitness routine. My triathlon training is winding down (10 days to go!) so I’ll probably start using the app for more cardio workouts as well.
