Winter Fitness Challenge Wrap Up


It’s been six weeks since we started the challenge with just a few weights, a medicine ball and the Nike Triaining Club app. In that time I’ve done many of the workouts in my goal – Get Toned.

So did it work? I can definitely answer yes. I was mostly looking to improve my muscle tone on my upper body and I can certainly see a difference. I love my tricep definition and I definitely see more tone in my shoulders and biceps.

The Nike Training Club app was a great tool for completing my challenge. Certainly, there was definitely a bit of a learning curve at first, because using my phone as my personal trainer is something completely new. But once I got it down, I had no excuses for not working out. I kept up my training through vacations and hurricanes! It’s also nice to know that the app is always there but never judging.  I also liked that if I got bored I could always mix it up and pick some workouts from other goals.

What’s next for me? Well the challenge might be over but I really want to get to 1000 minutes and unlock Lea Michele’s workout (secret gleek!). I also plan to continue to use the Nike Training Club app as one of the weapons in my fitness arsenal. Winter will be here soon and I plan to be ready to crush it on the hill!
