Wunderkind Alexis Rowland in NY Times
I am not sure whether I love her or hate her....Alexis Rowland the wunderkind snowboarder who at only 8years old is just above and beyond anything I have seen. Anyway, this time she is gracing the New York Times,a little late as the story was posted 2 weeks ago...still worth a read and check out the video near the end of the article. So ridiculous - in a good way!

She's very good, she's about as good as any best guy in my country. but, that is not fare to compare her to guys. Someone has made a comment on youtube, that when shawn white was her age , he was busting 5's all ways possible. I dunno, havent seen footage of him in comp at that age. However, she's a girl, with girl's physics and psychics. She's very determined and has a very supportive family. I hope she keeps up to any other interests she has, doesnt forget to rest and so doesnt loose interest in snowboarding, and for sure, she'll become the best out there.
