New season, new look, new features

You might have noticed that we’ve had a bit of a facelift!

We'll be bringing you even more of the latest snow news, gossip and product info. You can now subscribe to our two rss feeds – one for our news and one for everything else – so you don’t miss any of our latest content.

EXPANDED PROFILE

When you log in, you’ll notice there are a few new things you can do.

You have the option of creating a much more detailed profile – sharing a little more info about riding set up and favourites snow gear.

CREATE AND SELECT EVENTS

You can also add events to your profile so you can find out who else will be at contests and events you’re going to. If there’s something missing from the calendar you can add it yourself – we’ll need to approve it before it gets published but we promise we’ll be quick!
 

CREATE AND JOIN GROUPS

You can create and join groups of powderroomies around themes, locations, events and other interests. The groups have all the features you'd expect to help you build a creative community.
 

 BLOGS

You can create your own blog posts in your accounts now - a great way to share your snow experiences this winter.
 

SAVE YOUR FAVOURITE LINKS AND SHOPPORTUNITIES WITH POWDERPICKS

You can now save shopportunities and site links to your favourites too so you can make a note for things to look out for in the shops or in the sales later in the year.

COLLECT POWDERPOINTS

Making this all even more worthwhile you will collect powderpoints for interacting with the site – joining groups, posting comments, posting forum posts and saving items and links to your site favourites. If you hit the community button you’ll see who has been busiest on the site. We’ll soon be adding the chart which shows you build up points and we’ll be adding special rewards and prizes for those who interact most with the site and each other as the season progresses so watch this space for more info.
