Buy Early & Save on Season Passes
Season passes can be a big investment. While some resorts sell them for a couple hundred dollars others go for ten times that. One way to save money is to buy your pass early. Many resorts offer big discounts if you purchase your pass before the end of the season. As a bonus many even let you use it for the remainder of the season!
This season there are some especially good early bird deals to be had.
You can save over $1000 on Squaw Valley passes if you purchase before May 11. To celebrate their 60th anniversary and the 50th of their hosting the Winter Olympics, Squaw is offering some mega deals on their passes. Your typical holiday blacked out pass will only cost $469.
Northstar at Tahoe will let you ride the rest of this season for free if you purchase a season pass now. Considering their daily lift tickets cost $79 this could be a great deal. Plus you can save up to $50 on your pass if you purchase before April 30.
Save $200 off the inseason price on any Mount Snow pass that you purchase before June 1st.
In Colorado you can get a Rocky Mountain Super Pass for $399 until April 19. That includes unlmited riding at Copper and Winter Park plus 6 days at Steamboat. To secure that price you just need to put a $49 deposit and you can pay the rest in the fall.
These are just a few of the great deals out there. If you know of any others let us know in the comments.
