Roxy SnowCamps with Lesley McKenna returning to StarSki Chalets

The 2009/10 season will see Roxy and Lesley McKenna team up again for some snow camps for female skiers and snowboarders.

The camps take place the weeks starting Sunday March 14 2010 and Sunday March 21 2010. They're aimed at skiers and snowboarders who want to improve their skills, receiving expert tuition from Olympian Lesley McKenna and enjoy a luxury chalet holiday too.

The camps are run in the resort of Morzine and offer six days of tuition with Lesley where she'll cover all aspects of ski and snowboard improvement -  technical concepts, technique adaption through different terrain, park riding (including pipe, kickers and rails) and off-piste riding. In the evenings there'll be technical discussions and video playpack from the day's action.

During the week you'll also be riding with some of the other girls from the Roxy pro-team, such as Aimee Fuller as they prepare for the Brits just a few weeks later. Towards the end of the week there'll be an afternoon with a photographer and you'll get a CD of the images to take home. 

Due to the nature of group skiing/snowboarding it is important that skiers are at an intermediate level, e.g. happy on reds, min of 3/4 weeks experience, reasonable parallels/linking turns. All of the lead coaches on the mountain are English speaking and fully qualified and insured to teach in France.

There will also be a champagne reception along with Roxy gift bags for all of our girls upon arrival.

The chalet accommodation is seriously plush too.  All rooms are ensuite and include such luxuries as 100% Egyptian cotton linen, spa fluffy towels and Molton Brown products. The chalet itself is brand new and has been designed with style and comfort in mind.  It has an outdoor hot tub, sauna, real log fire, Sky TV and private bar. A full meal is served every evening with French wines.

The camp costs £680 per person per week. This includes half-board accommodation, tuition, lift pass and all other activities mentioned.
