Some more news for you from the London Freeze Festival crew. They've launched a new portal at www.londonfreeze.com/lg/ with official event sponsor LG where you can get all the latest official and backstage news from the event. There's also the chance to take part in a range of interactive services and enter a bunch of neat competitions.
The event hits Battersea Power Station from October 30 to November 1 with top international riders hitting the 32 metre jump for some FIS World Cup big air action. There's also music from Orbital, Friendly Fires and more acts to be announced.
On the new Freeze Connect site you can check out the latest Twitter updates on the London Freeze feed (you can also follow at twitter.com/londonfreeze) where UK Olympic hopeful Ben Kilner and Snowfix podcast presenters Tim & Jules will be posting the latest event news and gossip.
You can also become a fan at www.facebook.com/londonfreeze to see all the latest updates in your Facebook feed.
The site is also playing host to a load of contests in the run up to the London Freeze, offering money can't buy prizes to the winners of interactive games including a series of online, real-life treasure hunts and other challenges issued through the Facebook and Twitter feeds. Prizes include VIP tickets to the event, LG mobile phones, signed snowboards, skis, CDs from athletes and bands taking part as well as Dare2b clothing and Relentless energy drinks.
