Four chances to win stuff by designing a snowboard

Over at Head Snowboards there's a contest open to get you to create your own version of the new season's Team snowboard, covered in colourful Edding marker scribbles.  The winner takes home a Head board, bindings and helmet in the Team design plus an Edding maxi set. REI and Arbor are about to launch a contest to find a design to be featured in Arbor's 2010-2011 line and sold only at REI stores. The winner will also receive a $1000 REI gift card and four runners up will get $500 gift cards. The contest opens on November 2. Visit the REI website to find out more.

 

At the recent Metro Ski and Snowboard Show people of all ages were getting creative with their entries for the UK Salomon Snowboards design contest. This runs until December 10 and is open to people in the UK. Entries must be entirely hand drawn and there are three age categories - under 10s, 10 - 15 and 16 and over. The winning designs will be professionally airbrushed onto a Salomon snowboard and a runner up in each category will get a subscription to Whitelines magazine. And finally, Ride Snowboards are also running their annual snowboard art contest. You need to send in your intent to enter form by November 18 and send in your submission on the contest template by December 11. The top 30 entries will go on show in early 2010 and the grand prize winner will get a one-of-a-kind board featuring their artwork plus $1000 cash. The top 30 will also be displayed on the Ride Snowboards website and a Peoples' Choice award will be voted for by the public. Full details on the Ride website.
