Fat Face team up with Shetland designer

What's that coming over the hill - is it a monster? No it's the ace Big Foot Fat Face scarf.

 

It's a limited edition collaboration with Shetland Islands based designer Andrea Williamson.

 

Generations of women in Andrea's families have worked with wool and the influence of Scandinavia in the region's style is evident too. Now she's worked with Fat Face to produce a scarf using natural Shetland-sourced lambs wool.

 

"Over the years I have collected old battered notebooks of patterns and garments from generations of family members," she explains. "I take the vibrant and innovative sections of these designs to create quirky modern guises."

 

"With this particular scarf, I wanted to create a warm and colourful winter piece using traditional techniques applied to a contemporary product but all made with love, care and kindness - the spirit of Fat Face!"
