Jenny Jones wins the X-Games Slopestyle for a second year

Last year Jenny Jones became the first Brit to win an X Games event  - this year she became the first Brit to defend her title!

She had serious competition too - with Jamie Anderson coming second and Janna Meyen-Weatherby taking third.

Despite a swollen knee and in front of a crowd which included family and friends from the UK, Jenny pulled off a frontside 5, cab 5 and a frontside 7.

Check out Jenny's run below:

In the men's contest Eero Ettala took the slopestyle title, with Eric Willett taking second and Chas Guldemond coming third.

Shaun White took the halfpipe title for the third year straight, despite giving himself a fair old smack on the side of the pipe whilst trying the trick-de-jour - a Double McTwist 1260 earlier in the day. But he pulled off another one successfully in the final though and topped the podium with Iouri Podladtchikov taking second and Kazuhiro Kokubo coming third.

In the women's contest it was an American clean sweep with Gretchen Bleiler taking the gold, Kelly Clark won silver and Hannah Teter won the bronze.

Apparently Torah Bright told doctors she thought she was well enough to compete in the halfpipe qualifiers but was told no by the specialists.
