Australia to Issue Torah Bright 20 Cent Coin

We recently told you about the Australian Post issuing a Torah Bright commemorative stamp. Now the Reserve Bank of Australia has one-upped the Australian Post by announcing they will be issuing a Torah Bright 20 cent coin. The coin will be produced by the Royal Australian Mint, which is located the Australian capital of Canberra.

"This coin breaks ground for the Mint, celebrating the success of our shining Olympic star Torah Bright.," the Assistant Treasurer, Senator Nick Sherry, said.

 About five million 20 cent pieces will be minted and released in the second half of the year.
