Jenny Jones Wins X Games Slopestyle Gold

British rider Jenny Jones edged out Spencer O'Brien on her last run to claim X Games Gold in Women's Slopestyle. Jones went into her last run trailing O'Brien by 3 points.

“On my last run I knew what I had wasn’t enough, so I had to lay down the 720,” said Jones.

The Salomon rider managed to throw down a frontside 720 off the money booter and a score of 90.00, securing her the top spot on the podium. Jones's winning run was a 50-50, gap to 50-50, tail press, backside 3, frontside 3, straight air and a frontside 720 over the 80 ft. money booter.

“Jenny rode super well,” O’Brien said. “I think we had a really good back and forth there with our final runs. She totally deserved it.”

Megan Ginter rounded out the top 3.
