This is a few days old but I just spotted it on The Times Surf Nation blog.

Two guys have ditched the Tube (I don’t blame them) and have taken to paddling on their surfboards down the Thames to work to commute to work. The journey takes several hours – although they can save up to an hour if they time the tides right.

No information on how they keep their copies of the Metro dry in the morning though…
