Accident leaves pant-less Vail skier hanging around
A set of pictures featuring a skier danging from a chairlift in Colorado has been appearing in newspapers around the world today.
They appeared on The Smoking Gun website yesterday and have spread like wildfire.
The accident is reported to have happened on New Year's day when the skier and a child boarded the Blue Sky Basin chair. The man somehow slipped and only a single ski boot and binding prevented him from falling from the lift. He dangled for 15 minutes before being rescued by staff.
No reports yet on who the skier was and what he had to say about his mishap.

Oh no! I thought I was bad on chairlifts, but this beats any embarrassment I've ever had! I don't think I'd ever want to go on another chairlift again if that happened to me. Poor guy!
