We Ski and Snowboard game for the Wii announced

There’s a big gaming conference on in Tokyo at the moment and another game for the Wii using the balance board was announced yesterday.

We Ski and Snowboard is the sequel to the currently available We Ski game from Namco Bandai.

The new game featured more mountains, 10,000 vertical feet of terrain and a snow park containing boxes, rails and a halfpipe.

You can take in the view in a leisurely gondola ride, take a heli-drop into the backcountry, navigating vertical drops and precipes (watching out for avalanches on the way).

There’s also a ski and snowboard school, moguls and slalom and you can play hide and seek, tag or take a nature tour with up to three friends.

The game is due for release in Japan later this year and early 2009 elsewhere.
