As we expected, Scotty Lago hasn't managed to hold to his March embargo on talking about the flirty pictures of him and his bronze Olympic medal that lead him to leave Vancouver.   On Friday night he appeared in the Jimmy Kimmel Live show in the US.

We just heard from ABC's PR peeps that Scotty Lago will be appearing on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live on Friday February 26. Lago took bronze in the men's halfpipe in Vancouver but made headlines too for some pictures of him with his medal and some ladies which earned him a slap on

Last night NBC broadcast an interview with Kevin Pearce's family about his road to recovery after the halfpipe accident that almost cost him his life on December 31. They also have the first pictures of Kevin released since the incident.  Lovely people and a good crew to have around you at a time like this.

According to reports on TMZ, bronze halfpipe medalist Scotty Lago has left the Olympics in Vancouver - but he was going to be asked to leave.  His departure is apparently connected to some photos taken showing him and some girls with his medal. TMZ calls them 'mildly suggestive' and says Lago is now in a blackout period' and won't talk about the incident until March 3. 

Rumors have been abounding that Torah Bright has been working on a double cork. We even heard that Torah was trying one in X-Games practice when she fell and hit her head leading to her withdrawal from the competition.

I read in The Age that Olympic gold medal hopeful, Aussie Torah Bright was hospitalised last week with her second concussion in three days.

The United States Postal Service is issuing a postage stamp featuring a snowboarder in honor of the Vancouver Olympics. The 44 cent stamp goes on sale today in post offices across the United States.The stamp was designed by illustrator Steve McCracken.

With just weeks to go to the Vancouver Olympics, the world's snowboarding nations are prepping the line ups of their Olympic teams - and there'll be a couple of notable absences.American rider Danny Davis suffered a spinal accident at the weekend in a quad biking accident and will not be able to take part in the Games. Doctors say he'll make a full recovery.

According to news reports over the last couple of days, pro rider Kevin Pearce is still in a critical but stable condition in hospital following a halfpipe accident.He was injured in the pipe in Park City, Utah, on December 31 and is now in the intensive care unit of the University of Utah Hospital.Reports say he caught an edge during a cab double cork.
