Bachelorette Jesse marries Bachelor Ann

It's seems like it's been so long since we've heard from Jesse Csincsak! Last we reported he and Bachelorette Deanna Pappas had called off their engagement.  We've learned that Jesse and Bachelor contestant Ann Lueders got married in Vegas yesterday AND that they are expecting their first child.

Nike Films Commercial at Aspen Snowmass

We heard via twitter that several Nike riders including Elena Hight and Louie Vito were heading to Aspen to shoot some ads. What we didn't know is that they are shooting a commercial, too. Word is there will be fireworks in the halfpipe at Snowmass, which has already closed for the season.Guess we'll have to wait for next season to see what comes out of this shoot...unless there's a twitter leak!

I'm sad to tell you today that I'm standing down as managing editor of powderroom.net.I founded the site in 2002 and had no idea how popular it would become and how much fun working on it would be.  I've run it for the last eight years whilst also having a full time job (as does pretty much everyone involved in the site).

Marie-France Roy Breaks Neck

We just saw a tweet from Marie-France Roy stating that she broke her neck but that she'll be ok.  From what we've been able to discover, MFR was injured while riding in the Whistler backcountry and broke her C2 vertebrae. We'll update when we find out more.Powderroom.net wishes Marie-France a full and speedy recovery!

Scotty Lago gets his own Olympic closing ceremony

As we expected, Scotty Lago hasn't managed to hold to his March embargo on talking about the flirty pictures of him and his bronze Olympic medal that lead him to leave Vancouver.   On Friday night he appeared in the Jimmy Kimmel Live show in the US.

We just heard from ABC's PR peeps that Scotty Lago will be appearing on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live on Friday February 26. Lago took bronze in the men's halfpipe in Vancouver but made headlines too for some pictures of him with his medal and some ladies which earned him a slap on

NBC speaks to Kevin Pearce's family

Last night NBC broadcast an interview with Kevin Pearce's family about his road to recovery after the halfpipe accident that almost cost him his life on December 31. They also have the first pictures of Kevin released since the incident.  Lovely people and a good crew to have around you at a time like this.

Scotty Lago leaves Vancouver Olympics - flirty pictures to blame

According to reports on TMZ, bronze halfpipe medalist Scotty Lago has left the Olympics in Vancouver - but he was going to be asked to leave.  His departure is apparently connected to some photos taken showing him and some girls with his medal. TMZ calls them 'mildly suggestive' and says Lago is now in a blackout period' and won't talk about the incident until March 3.
