I’ve been living and working in Canada for a month now and so far have loved every second. Well… all most every second, I don’t love the second I hear my annoyingly cheery alarm tune courtesy of Nokia at 6 am every morning. But, I do have to say my life is worth getting up at silly o clock in the morning. I get to see the sun rise at 8650ft above sea level, my office is the stunning Canadian rockies and I get first track runs at Lake Louise resort before any members of the public are allowed. What is my job I hear you cry? Well Im a full time snowboard instructor at the infamous Lake Louise resort in Alberta. It’s my first season of teaching and I absolutley love it, its the first job I’ve truly loved and who wouldn’t.
The last time we caught up with Kimmy Fasani, she was flying high. As in, ripping it slopestyle, like a little birdie with a gnarly set of DC sponsored wings and a film crew to capture every fall from the nest. Lucky for her, this Taurus always lands on her feet. Nowadays, it’s a bit more of the same, although Fasani’s finding more time to play it low-key. And by low-key, she means more filming – in Alaska. No biggie.
[[wysiwyg_imageupload:154:]]Catch Kimmy Fasani on the phone and she’s the opposite of what you’d expect. Humble, gracious and completely chilled-out. You’d have no idea she rips the way she does.
“I’m doing really well, just hanging out in Mammoth.”
