Onboard magazine’s Girls Week movie

In March 2009, Onboard magazine spent a week shooting and riding in the resort of Silvretta/Montafon with some awesome female riders including Sarka Pancochova, Alexis Waite, Hana Beaman, Margot Rozies, Leanne Pelosi, Lisa Filzmoser and Silvia Mittermüller.

First part of Westbeach Goes Dutch released

Earlier this year the Westbeach team spent five days hitting Europe’s indoor slopes and created a three part film about their adventures.

Westbeach Goes Dutch follows Megan Fox, Terje Haakonsen, Andy Nudds, Will Smith, Matt Macwhirter,Laura Berry and Billy Morgan and John Weatherley as they hit five domes in four days, travel 1000 miles and loose three phones and a wallet. 

Part one features  ‘Boxzilla’ at Chill Factore, Manchester and death defying stunts at Snow World Landgraaf.  

Forum Wants to Hold a Euro Premiere of Forever at Your House

Forum wants you to host the European premiere of their film Forever, at your house. They’ll send you a copy of the movie, t-shirts, stickers and more. They’ll be giving out prizes to the best parties.

If you want to host a party send an email to by September 25th with this info:

  • Where do you live?
  • Where are you going to have the premiere (house, garden, garage, basement, etc.)?
  • How many people will be coming?
  • Why should we have a premiere at your place?
  • Age?

Forum will be chosing 50 party hosts and letting them know by September 28th.

First Look at Stance – All Girls Film

The first teaser for Stance, a women’s snowboard film coming out this fall, has been released. We told you a little about this film before but we’re finally getting a glimpse and seeing who’s in it.   We knew about Gretchen Bleiler but it’s also got Hana Beaman, Jamie Anderson, Kimmy Fasani, Lisa Filzmoser, Jenny Jones, Torah Bright, Raewyn Reid, Molly Aguirre, and Gabi Viteri.

2009 Oakley Jib Vid teams announced

Details of the 18 teams taking part in the Oakley Jib Vid contest later this month have been announced. There were supposed to just be 15 teams but so many teams entered that there are now 18.

From March 25 to 27 the teams will gather in Mayrhofen in Austria with just 28 hours to make a two-minute short film to showcase amazing riding, arty shots and an interesting storyline. The prize purse is a tasty 10,000 euros.

A three-part documentary about the Jib Vid was made last year and the first part of this is now available on Mpora. You can watch it below:

Final Roxy podcast of the season now live

The final Roxy podcast of the season is now live. Episode 25 is a montage of all the winter’s best bits.  It’s also a landmark film for producer/director Josie Clyde as it’s her last one. She’s handing over the reins to Jasmin and Gendle at Lockdown Projects for next winter so keep your eyes peeled for a new season of films in the autumn.
