Mamafest, Summit at Snowqualmie

Snow permitting, there’ll be a halfpipe jam for men and women, otherwise there’ll be a slopestyle jam instead. There’ll also be a pledge drive, demos, live music and thousands of dollars of goodies to win in raffles.

Almost 100% of the money raised at the event goes directly to support the UW Medical Genetics Clinic.  In just the last 10 years the Medical Genetics Clinic went from seeing about 20 patients annually for cancer genetics counselling to close to 1,000.  Mamafest has helped support their organization for five of the past 10 years.

There are lots of ways you can get involved.  You can raise money for Mamafest – visit www.mamafest.org to download a form. The people who raise the most money will get special prizes and everyone who raises more than $100 will get a Mamafest sweatshirt.
