New board? I just don't know!
Hey ladies,
so last year I spent the season on a K2 Eco Pop in the French Alps where the conditions were mostly a bit rubbish. I love the board, it has helped me progress and ride proper fast but I was always thinking it might have been a bit too stiff for me. I want to be able to play around a bit more on and around piste, not necessarily in the park although maybe a couple of afternoons. Next year I'm off to Whistler for a couple of weeks and I really want to explore the mountain, learn some new tricks but also be able to charge about when I like and also ride some powder as I hear Whistler is pretty good for that right?
I don't really know what I want. Any ideas?

I can vouch for the roxy boards. I own a roxy ollie pop but have ridden the others. I find it great, it has the pop ( for when i want to start some jumps) and its great on the mountain. I really like the magni traction.
The only point i would make about the bataleon boards is witht the TBT tech im not sure what they would be like if you decided to use the board for the park.
Have you looked at the never summer boards ? Maybe the infinity would tick the boxes you want ?
I can recommend the Ride OMG snowboard, last winter i rode for a week the OMG 2011 and it was awsome, in the park but also beside the park. It´s a really cool board!:)
Hi Victoria,
I live in Washington and do most of my riding in and around the North Cascades. I test boards for BoardInsiders.com and I have to say, I think you'd love the Never Summer Lotus. It's a Rocker-Camber shape, and the funnest board I've ever ridden. I took it into the backcountry in knee deep pow and the board floated, and responded so well. And, in bounds, it was still very poppy and fun to play on. The board is fast, and made for an intermediate to advanced rider. Check it out. Super fun.

Anyone tried the Rome Lo-Fi camber or rocker. What's the OMG like in powder?
i would also love to hear more reviews on the 2012 Rome Lo-Fi Rocker. i was also considering the OMG and have heard it's a great board, but sounds a little too stiff for my riding. Would the Lo-Fi handle powder?
Hi,
I'm in a similiar situation, so hopefully we can help each other! I've got a K2 mix (Gretchens board before the Eco Pop), I've had it for 6 years and really really loved it. But it's not in great shape, so I'm looking to get something. Like you I want something a bit more playful but I still want to be able to charge round the rest of the mountain and ride powder. The boards I've been looking at are:
Has anyone got any experience with any of these boards? Or can you suggest others worth looking into?
