I've been 'window shopping' at Burton 2011 range and i stumbled accross my dream board. I love Bob Marley. The Bruton Whammy Marley in the restricted range looks ace! http://www.weloveburtonsnowboards.com/productview.php?pickcat=10006112&p... :D

I want the Flux GU30 or Union Trilogy bindings, and the DC Biddy/Nitro Mystique gullwing/Flow Jewel board... Will be keeping an eye on discounts next year!

I just started thinking about new gear.  A Ride OMG might be on my list and then I'd need new bindings. I live on Burton Escapades so that's what it would have to be.

Not sure about outerwear yet!

I've been eyeing up the Salomon Sick Stick as my new powder board but as i just quit my job at a ski and board shop i don't know how i will afford it!!  Maybe i should have timed my resignation a little better :(

I demoed that when it first came out and I loved it. I just wanted the to make it smaller. And now they have! I don't think it's changed much since last year. So maybe you can find a 2010 one cheap?

Can new homeowners even afford snowboards? ;)

Probably can't afford it, but that the problem with addictions....you sometimes use your grocery money to pay for them ;)

I'm going to ask my current boss if he'll sell me one of last years at cost, but its still around $400 CAD!

Which length did you demo? I was thinking of getting the 160 as my allround board is a 156, does that sound about right?

For a powder board you can actually downsize thanks to the taper and overall shape of the board. If I went by weight and such I *should* be riding boards in the 156 range but I my allround is a 152.  I have a 154 Malolo and I am 100% happy with it.  I get plenty of float and it is still super easy to turn in the tight trees.

That said, I wants me a 152 Lipstick Flying V and an Oakley Float Jacket.  Same as last year :)

I demoed a 156 but I really wanted a 153. Like serraph said - due to the shape of this board which has a big nose and tapered tail you can ride it smaller than your normal board.

I normally ride 154-157 and I felt like I had to work hard to push the board around. A 153 would have been perfect.

word.

unless you're 5'8 and 180 lbs you should go smaller than 154-155. especially for this board.

I've already ordered a pair of K2 Auto Agogos in that turquoise blue they come for 2011. I can't wait to try them. I'm also on an urgent need for mitts.

the most important things on my wishlist are a new snowboard and a season pass.
i need to get a new snowboard, since one of the inserts on my roxy ollie pop from last year broke... i'm not sure what board to get... maybe the k2 vavavoom?

i should buy new shoes and a new pair of pants, since the ones i wear are already several years old, but i'll have to see how much i can afford.

i'd love to get a powder gun like the sick stick, but i'm afraid i won't be able to afford getting two snowboards. thankfully, the new rocker boards are pretty good for riding powder aswell, so i'm optimistic that one board will be fine ;)

aaaah, i'm sooo looking forward to this season! i need to buy the new german snowboard mag asap and have a look at the product guide.

It's coming to the end of our season here and I've managed 4 days riding this season! I can't tell you how many years it's been since I've done so little riding.

I've still managed to create a wish list in those 4 days though;

New Bindings, I got a new board (Burton Gtwin) with Scribe EST bindings and I'm not too sure about the bindings. I guess I'm just so used to my Escapades.

New Bindings x 2, I'm currently swapping my non EST Escapade between my Fellgood & VaVa Voom. I'd much rather just have complete set ups on all my boards.

New pants, I've done about 35-40 days in my current pants and managed to rip them apart again. It's not a good look.

Helmet, I really should get one. Esp if I want to work in guest services next year I have to have one. I've tried a heap on but I can't seem to find one that doesn't make me look like a gump.
