Got old stuff you want to get rid of?

Snow Camp are a charity who take children from London's inner city estates on ski and snowboard holidays in the Alps. While on the holidays, the kids take part in life skills coaching too.

These guys get help from ski hire shops in the resort they visit but they do really need a good supply of outerwear, goggles, gloves and ski and snowboard hardware for the kids.

We're hoping they'll come to Just4Girls at Tamworth on October 29th so that you can bring along any old gear you don't need any more and don't plan to sell. It's an easy - and worthwhile - way of clearing our your winter cupboard this season! Will bring you more details soon but if you might have stuff to bring along please let me know so that we know what the interest is like and whethe its worth their while coming up from London to collect stuff.

Hmm, probably not coming to J4G but I might find someone who is (and is taking a car) and ask them nicely to take some donations from us. Any volunteers?! (St Albans or London...)

Thanks! Will have to check with Dave who is now saying we might have someone who wants to borrow it but I'll have a delve around and get back to you. Much appreciated.

Hi Guys

It's Liv from Snow-Camp here. Just wanted to say a big thank you for all your messages and offers of support, its really great to hear all the positive words. We're definitley coming to Tamworth on 29th so looking forward to seeing you there and as Lucie mentioned any old gear that you want to get rid of we'll happily take home with us. We're aiming to take 40 young people and 12 youth leaders from London to Les 2 Alpes in April so quite a few bodies to clothe from head to toe!

If some of you are not going to Tamworth but have some gear you would like to give Snow-Camp we could arrange an alternative collection point, we're based in London & Brighton but could also arrange postage etc.

Any questions at all please feel free to call me 07813035660 or email me on liv@snow-camp.co.uk.

Cheers, Liv x
