Giro Big Air at Milton Keynes Results

The British Snow Tour headed to Milton Keynes, SNO!zone on Saturday 25th September for the highly anticipated Giro British Indoor Big Air Championships and Big Air Jam. A high-calibre group of snowboarders and skiers turned up to take on the perfectly crafted 10m, 6m & 3m kickers.

Spectators were treated to a multitude of fancy tricks, flips and big airs as the snowboarders gave it their all during the Giro Big Air Jam sessions. The overall Jam session winners were, Sparrow Knox (over 16’s) Matt Cory (under 16’s) and Katie Ormerod (women’s).

Volcom's 2009 Peanut Butter & Rail Jam Championships

Last weekend Volcom held the 2009 Peanut Butter and Rail Jam Championships at Mammoth Mountain. The invite only event was open to competitors who placed 1st through 5th at one of the many qualifier stops this season. 

The contest kicked off with qualifiers for the 15 & Under Division, followed by 16 & Over, then the Ladies', and lastly the Men's Open Division. The set up was basic and allowed for total domination by the competitors: pole jam to down box, down-flat-down rail, flat to down lift tower, and a barrel stall at the bottom.

Burton are running a competition all winter to give away a snowmaking set up. The contest is open to people in the US and Canada and to enter you need to build a mini shred park and film you and your mates hitting the park.

Your film needs to be five minutes or less and submissions will be judged by a panel looking for creativity/uniqueness of snow features, quality of execution and creativity/uniqueness of the video.
