The snow community descends on Battersea for the Relentless Freeze Festival in London.

Peep Show will premiere their film Let's Make Better Mistakes Tomorrow (LMBMT) in London on Thursday.

LMBMT has some of the top women riders including Colleen Quigley, Darrah R McLean, Desiree Melancon, Esthera Preda, Jess Kimura, June Bhongjan, Kjersti Buaas, Laura Hadar, Laurie Gauvin, Marie Hucal, Nicki Sletcha, Robin Van Gyn, Terra Michilot.

Meet the Forum Team at TSA London on September 30

That’s right head down to The Snowboard Asylum in Covent Garden (London) and you can meet Forum team members Andreas Wiig, John Jackson, Nic Sauve, Daniel Ek and Alek Oestreng. The guys will be stopping by the TSA at around 3pm on Thursday September 30th to do a bit of a signing. The Forum guys are in town for the London premiere of their new film F*** IT which will be screening that very night in Brixton.

Some more news for you from the London Freeze Festival crew. They've launched a new portal at www.londonfreeze.com/lg/ with official event sponsor LG where you can get all the latest official and backstage news from the event. There's also the chance to take part in a range of interactive services and enter a bunch of neat competitions.

The UK’s biggest ever winter sports and music festival, Freesports on 4 Freeze sponsored by LG, is returning to London this autumn. Thankfully it's a different weekend to the Metro Ski and Snowboard Show this year and the event takes place at Battersea Power Station from October 30 to November 1. 

The Vitality Show is returning to London’s Earls Court arena from March 26 to 29. It’s the 10th anniversary of the show which celebrates health, beauty and wellbeing.  There are seminars from diet and fitness experts, exercise classes, a full day spa where you can get some pampering treatments plus a ton of beauty and healthy food samples and bargains to snap up.

New for this year is an organic beauty pavilion, dedicated to certified organic beauty brands such as Jo Wood Organics. To mark the tenth anniversary of the show, there’s also an exhibition called The Good, Bad and the Ugly which explores a decade of health and beauty innovations.

I must be genetically programmed to wake up at stupid o’clock when it snows. I was wide awake at 5.30am, swooning over the huge amounts of snow in our street. I’d have been stoked to see this much white stuff in a resort, never mind in south London.
