Nike just released this commercial introducing the new Nike Zoom Kaiju QS “Gigi Rüf”. It's interesting to see what happens when you've got the Nike marketing machine behind you. Watch out Gigi!

While we love the collaborations and bright colourways lots of footwear brands now offer, sometimes you just want something totally unique.  We checked out a couple of services offering you the chance to design your own shoes  - and not at ridiculous prices either.
 
 
Vans in the US have just relaunched their Customs site at www.vans.com/customs. Here you can choose from three shoe styles costing either $60 or $70. You can either start with one of their designs or begin your customisation with a totally blank shoe. There are loads of options to style your shoe however you like.


 
Nike 6.0 are looking for their next UK Media Apprentice.  Every year they give one up and coming filmer or photographer the chance to work with the Nike 6.0 team for a year, travelling to events and competitions in the UK abroad. The chosen apprentice will get to meet movers and shakers in the action sports industry and have their work featured in magazines, online and on television too.

Nike ACG have launched another season of their Sweetspots films.

The series features the Nike ACG crew travelling the glove in search of fresh lines in unique locations.

The first episodes of the season feature French compatriots Mati Imbert and Laurent Niol heading to the Nepalese Himalayas to register first descents on the exposed faces of Annapurna and explore the Buddhist temples of Kathmandu.

The series also features the crew hitting the big mountains in Alaska, and some park action courtesy of Richard Permin.
