Girlie skateboard camps and Vans join forces

Vans are teaming up with Girlie skate camps in Europe this summer.

The camps have been running for six years, starting in Barcelona, growing in popularity and extending to Manchester, Prague, Montpelier and Hossegor.

The summer camps for 2009 will take place in London, Berlin and Bilbao. Many girls who attend the camps are beginners and are trying skateboarding for the first time. Others are more experienced and want to work on new tricks and build new connections around the globe. Girls of all levels are welcome at the camp to ride the parks and street spots in the host cities.

Included in the camps are six days of skating with coaches from Girlie in two sessions per day. Tuition will be in small groups divided by ability.

The dates for the 2009 camps are:

London: April 8 – 13
Berlin: July 19 – 26
Bilbao: September 6 – 13
