Three years ago Alexa Hohenberg worked her socks off to put together Britain’s first all-girl contest series and UK female snowboard film.

Now the series is back with a fresh of events for 2008.

The first one Gnar Chicken and Tea hits Tamworth Snowdome on May 31.

Male and female skiers and snowboarders of all levels are welcome to take part. There are prizes from the new sponsors Oakley, Vans, Avalaan and Snowboard Club UK.

The goodies will be dishes out for male and female categories such as most stylish, most creative use of the slope, best jibber etc

There’ll also be music, art and riders from the movie SnowBalls.
