Absinthe Films launched its own iTunes platform on March 4.

The first batch of films available are Transcendence, Pop and the seven new episodes of their new TV show Flipside about the making of Optimistic?

Customers who but the entire series of Flipside will get Optimistic? for free (only in the US).

Optimistic? won the prestigious movie of the year award given out by Snowboarder  Magazine for the best snowboard film of 2007. Titles for Rider Of The Year went to Nicolas Müller (by Snowboarder) as well as to Wolle Nyvelt (by Transworld Snowboarding Magazine) – who both appear in the movie.

"Action sports titles are a vulnerable medium to piracy,” said Patrick Armbruster, co-owner Absinthe Films.
“The youth has always been on the forefront of technology and new trends, sharing titles is unavoidable. We don't want to blame but rather offer an alternative solution to our digital age and make our titles legally available in the best possible quality!"
