The search for a Japanese snowboarder believed missing since Thursday is continuing in Whistler.

Ai Ito was studying English at a Whistler language school and was last seen on the Seventh Heaven chairlift on Thursday morning.

Belongings such as her mobile phone, wallet were found with other clothing at her language school, leading officers to suspect she did not return from the mountain to collect her things.
