Vail Epic Pass for 2009/10 season on sale now

Vail's Epic Season Pass is now on sale at last years introductory price of $579 for adults and $279 for children, ages 5-12, for skiing and snowboarding at all five Vail Resorts - Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Heavenly - as well as at Arapahoe Basin.

"We recognize these are challenging times for many of our guests, but in spite of it all, our guests have reminded us of a very important lesson: that skiing (and snowboarding) is a passion and it's part of who they are and how they connect with their friends and family," said Rob Katz, chief executive officer for Vail Resorts.

"Our guests still want to and need to ski and snowboard this season at our five iconic and top-rated resorts (plus at Arapahoe Basin), which is why it's so important that we make it easier for our guests to enjoy another 'Epic' ski or snowboard season next year by rolling back the prices to the 2008-2009 prices of $579 for adults and $279 for children."

But this price is only available until April 9. If you don't have all the cash now, you have the option of securing a pass at the reduced price with a $49 down payment. The remainder is due in September.

I've read that the pass for the 09/10 season is now 599.00. It seems like a lot of money, but when you get all of Vail's mountains, at your ski tips....I think that's a pretty good deal. I think you can book it online during the summer at http://vail.travel/planning/vail-epic-pass.htm or at www.Vail.travel. Can't wait to make turns already!
