Utah resort collecting socks for the homeless

On February 26 you can get a $16 discount towards an all access day pass to Utah’s Powder Mountain ski resort if you bring a package of new socks. Powder Mountain is collaborating with Stoked On Socks in order to give the ski and snowboard community an opportunity to help the homeless by donating an item that they want most: new socks.

Stoked On Socks, a non-profit organization founded by former pro-snowboarder Mitch Nelson, will be at the Timberline Lodge at Powder Mountain to collect the donations. Stoked On Socks distributes the contributions to The Rescue Mission of Salt Lake, Road Home Homeless Shelter, Volunteers of America, and Wasatch Homeless Healthcare.

The discount will be deducted from the regular $56 adult lift pass price, and can’t be combined with any other offer.
