Adventure travel company Access Trips is launching of a new instructional snowboarding tour - the Mainland and Hokkaido Power Roadtrip.

While the tour is not suited for complete beginners, those comfortable with snowboarding basics will find ample opportunity for skill building as they train under expert instruction.

Beginning in Tokyo, riders will spend 13 days on tree runs, backcountry tours, seemingly endless trails, and even a ride through a dormant crater.

When not on the slopes, boarders will enjoy all the rest that Japanese culture has to offer, including outdoor hot springs, a Buddhist temple, quality accommodation and delicious cuisine.  The trip will be available during February and March 2006.
