Burton have announced plans to open a new flagship store in Osaka, Japan in the Shinsaibashi shopping district. The store will be two storeys high, will feature snowboarding gear and apparel and will be the company’s first store in Japan to feature a premium selection of Channel Islands Surfboards and gear.

The store in Osaka will be twice the size of the one in Tokyo. One feature design will be a “cold room” for simulating winter conditions so guests can try on gear.

Visitors to the store can look forward to ongoing events such as athlete autograph sessions, demos, parties, charity events, women’s events, Learn To Ride (LTR) and much more.

The VIP grand opening will be November 2 followed by a public after-party at Live & Bar 11. The public grand opening will be Saturday November 3.
