Pro Ride holding first NZ World Camp in September
After a successful tenth season running winter camps in Whistler, Canada, Pro Ride Snowboard Camp will be running its first NZ World Camp in September 2008.
A third of their 2008 Whistler camps saw a 50/50 split between male and female campers – the biggest influx of girls yet.
Last August Pro Ride headed to Las Lenas Argentina which was a huge success and the campers scored a full week of powder riding. This year Pro Ride is heading to NZ for a spring session where they will be riding Cardrona, Treblecone and Snowpark NZ from September 6.
The camps are for intermediate and advanced adult (18+) riders who are looking to progress their all mountain freeriding / freestyle skills. Coaches will include Anthony Crute (head coach of Pro Ride), Camp Director Karen Lyons, Lisa Corcoran (Pro Ride pro guide) and NZ pro rider Anthony Leffelaar plus other guests.
