Grivel Steel Blade shovel

A shovel is an essential part of every snowboarder’s avalanche safety kit. Mind you it also comes in pretty handy for building kickers and digging your car out of the snow too. This Grivel shovel is something a little different as it has a sharp aluminium blade to help you cut through the stubbornest packed snow and ice. You can grab either the top handle or the actual shovel itself through the side handles. It’s really sturdy and easy to get some force behind. There’s also space to insert the handle of an ice axe if you want a longer attachment but it’s so well designed on its own we think you’ll get along with it pretty well on its own. We like.
