Burton Moving US Open to Vail Colorado for 2013

Burton announced today that after 30 years in Vermont, they are relocating the US Open to Vail, Colorado for 2013. The US Open has been at Stratton Mountain for the past 27 years. Planning is under way, as they look to get US Forest Service  approvals to move the halfpipe to Golden Peak. The US

TTR Changes Up Women’s Tour for 2011

Some changes are in the mix for the TTR Tour this season. Roxy has cancelled the Chicken Jam due to their event partner pulling out which has resulted in a shorter and more intense tour for the ladies. But this isn’t all bad! Women’s events have been added to to some of the coolest men’s comps – like the Arctic Challenge. They are also introducing initiative to bring more amateur women into the fold.

What You Need to Know About the US Open

The US Open Finals get underway this weekend at Stratton Mountain in Vermont. It’s the last big event of the season and will decide the Men’s Ticket to Ride Champion. So here’s what you need to know whether you’re attending in person or just watching the live webcasts. The US Open is more than just a competition. There’s a sponsors’ village where you can pick up swag, board demos, riding, parties, and free concerts by Santigold and R2D2.
