British rider Jenny Jones edged out Spencer O'Brien on her last run to claim X Games Gold in Women's Slopestyle. Jones went into her last run trailing O'Brien by 3 points.

Torah Bright made X Games history on Friday night. The Roxy rider's second run was awarded a 97.33 - the highest score ever for Women's Superpipe.

Torah Bright took first in X Games Superpipe qualifiers as she edged out Kelly Clark.  The finals will be loaded with most of the top women as they compete for X Games Gold on Friday night. Gretchen Bleiler qualified fourth and will look to defend her title. Newcomer Kaitlyn Farrington took the sixth and final spot in tonights competition, bumping Kjersti Buass.

Some big names will be missing from the Women's X Games Slopestyle final.  Last year's gold medal winner, Jamie Anderson, pulled out of the competition after being injured at the Burton European Open.  Other invited riders like Cheryl Maas and Jana Meyen also did not compete in the qualifiers. Leanne Pelosi failed to qualify.

In foggy conditions, Jenny Jones qualified first among the field of eleven women. The top six will compete in the Slopestyle finals on Saturday afternoon.
