breast cancer

The night kicked off from 4.30 with taster sessions on the beginner slope with lots of people trying out skiing or snowboarding for the first time.  These proved very popular with about 30 people signing up over two hours of half hour sessions.  With the instructors sharing their passion for the sport I think we managed to convert some people into winter lovers ready to embrace the coming winter with the excitement that we at the Aberdeen Snowsports Centre do.

During October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Breast Cancer Care is asking everyone in the UK to get In the Pink and raise funds for the charity.

An In the Pink event is an easy and fun excuse for friends to get together and support the 46,000 people who are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK.

Aberdeen Snowsports Centre of Garthdee, Aberdeen will be holding an In the Pink event on 28th October 2008. Guests will be invited to try skiing or snowboarding in a taster session or compete in a jam format rider-voted competition.
