eastpak

Head down to the Eastpak store at the end of London's Carnaby Street and you'll soon be able to soak up a l'il artistic culture while you buy some tidy bags and clothing.

The Eastpak Icon Store in London's Carnaby Street is celebrating its first birthday on Friday September 18.

Throughout the day there'll be discounts, limited edition bag giveaways with any purchase and plenty of cake.

There'll be a party in the evening to celebrate featuring an accoustic set from Marner Brown. You can enter a draw for an invite to the party at www.eastpak.com/carnabystreet

There'll be no excuse for not taking cool snaps on your travels this summer if you take up Eastpak's UK summer offer.

From July 1 if you buy any piece of wheeled Eastpak luggage at selected stores, you can get your mitts on a free Eastpak limited edition Lomography Fisheye camera.

Eastpak are continuing their series of collaborations with top designers with a spring/summer collection produced in association with Eley Kishimoto.

The bags feature the London-based design house’s iconic flash print in three colourways – blue, red and black.

It’s being used on three Eastpak bags and there only 1000 of each bag in each colourway available globally. Each one is individually numbered and signature labelled so you know you’ve got the real thing. It also comes in custom packaging and comes with a special limited edition Eley Kishimoto Eastpak pin.

Last Thursday I spent the evening supping champagne and cocktails at the opening of Eastpak’s flagship London store (it’s a terrible life I know).

The store is at No. 1 Carnaby Street and has two floors of lovely clothing, bags, luggage and accessories – the first time you can view and purchase all Eastpak lines in one place in the UK.

Hundreds of people turned out for the opening party – once inside we giggled at passing tourists and shoppers getting the fright of their life when they saw the zombie models keeping watch outside the store.
