Gnu has just announced the early release imited edition Jamie Anderson "Ladies Choice" board.

Jamie Anderson and Kelly Clark continued their winning ways from last season at the Burton New Zealand Open with with wins in slopestyle and halfpipe, respectively.This was Kelly Clark's tenth win

Finnish upstart Enni Rukajärvi claimed the slopestyle title and $20,000 at the 29th Burton US Open last weekend in Vermont. 

For most of the season Jamie Anderson has seemed unstoppable, and she was able to claim the Overall TTR title just by qualifying for the slopestyle finals. However she was unable to claim yet another title this season, thanks to the efforts of Enni Rukajärvi in the rainy conditions. Jamie pulled out the stops with a big switch backside 540 indy, but Rukajarvi was able to top Anderson by two points with a run including frontside 360 indy grab, a backside 540 indy grab and a Cab 540 mute grab. Young Norwegian rider Silje Norendal took third place.

Enni Rukajärvi Wins X Games Slopestyle Gold

The story of Winter X Games 15 thus far may be the success of the rookies. Saturday night, rookie Alex Schlopy took the top prize in Skiing Big Air and Sunday morning, fellow rookie Enni Rukajarvi took the gold in Women’s Snowboard Slopestyle.
 
With the win, Rukajarvi not only won her first medal, but she is the first female snowboarder from Finland to medal at Winter X Games.

Jamie Anderson Officially Riding Gnu for 2011

Seattle, WA – After two years of riding, loving and winning on the Gnu B-Pro, Jamie Anderson is making it official. The South Lake Tahoe, CA-local is signing with GNU as the brand’s first “Guest Pro.” As a celebrity guest Jamie will enjoy all of the perks of Gnu pro status including fabulous photo shoots and parties in her honor. She’ll also have the ability to work closely with Gnu’s leading design teams in Carlsborg, WA to develop new snowboards that fit her style and make riding even more fun.

Some of the top female snowboarders in the world gathered at Mammoth Mountain last weekend for the Roxy Chicken Jam.  Riders were competing, not just to win the Chicken Jam, but to be named the Ticket To Ride Global Champ.

Kelly Clark kept up her strong season with another win. Clark dominated in the pipe with her signature big amplitude and a frontside 900 to frontside 720 to cab 720 in her run.  Japan's Rana Okada took second, and Elena Hight took third.  Clark also won the Zumiez Best Trick award for her frontside 900.
