Dancing With Louie Vito - Week 2

Louie Vito danced his way into the 2nd week of Dancing with the Stars. Louie and his partner, Chelsie Hightower, had the jive this week. They are the youngest and least ballroom-y of the group. This week they danced to "Crash" by The Primitives.

Dancing with Louie Vito - Round 1

Last night the eighth season of Dancing With The Stars premiered, and with it we got to see Louie Vito dance. Louie, who said he is 5'6, is paired with the petite Chelsie Hightower of So You Think You Can Dance fame. I'm not a fan of the show but who could miss it? Judging by twitter, a lot of action sports fans were tuned in, too.

Louie Vito's intro video showed him in the halfpipe. Sadly for Louie's sponsor,  O-Matic, the base of his snowboard was blurred out. He was also wearing an O-Matic t-shirt duing a practice session and while logo was visible, the word O-Matic was taped over.

ABC has released publicity shots for the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars. This means we get to see Louie Vito in a ballroom dancing costume.

Sadly there is not a sequin in sight, but I remain hopeful.

Louie Vito joins Dancing with the Stars Cast

Louie Vito's Official Website announced yesterday that he will be joining the upcoming seasons cast of Dancing With the Stars.

My favorite quote from the announcement:

"Watching Louie on this show will be especially interesting since Louie has never even seen the show and another fairly important point - he CAN'T dance!!"

The new season will premier on September 21st on ABC.  It should be interesting.
