EARTH CALLING MORZINE – ARE YOU OUT THERE MORZINE?
There is a clock in my head: a big white giant snow clock tick-tocking the countdown to winter. It’s causing me sleepless nights, permeating my waking day and giving me palpitations on my walk to work. Because there is white stuff arriving in the mountains and I have several BIG questions that need answering. I need to know what cool stuff is coming up this season. I need to know when to book my flight and most importantly I need to know what to wear, because even if you don’t want to admit it I will happily scream from the top of the Mont Blanc “People! I want to look good on snow!!!!”

Tammy Esten who owns Mint Snowboard School in Morzine was interviewed by powderroom.net at the start of the season. 
I was sceptical about women-only weeks. 
As I left work at 5pm on a Friday afternoon, I was tingling with anticipation at the great snow awaiting me in Avoriaz. 
Tammy Esten is English but calls the French Alps home. She set and runs Mint Snowboard School – a Morzine-based academy providing private and group lessons in French or English. This winter they’re also working on the Just4Girls snowboard camps and expanding the project to launch Just4Guys camps and mixed freestyle and freeride camps.
The Just4Girls crew were the first people in the UK to offer snowboard camps for girls and they’re returning this winter with two more camps for us female folk in Morzine.
