Nikita have signed 25-year-old Swedish rider Cecilia Larsen - here's what they told us about how they met her:Nikita first met Cecilia when she competed at the Nikita Chickita Norway contest in March 2009.  She rocked that event and deservedly won after an amazing second final round and picked up the Best Trick prize.

A while back we told you that Nikita is opening its first store in the Icelandic capital Reykjavik. There'll be a party to mark the opening of the store and music mavericks Gus Gus will be joining the shindig too to mark the launch of their new album 24/7 and will play a live set in Nikita's back yard.

Nikita have been working with a range of artists for the new autumn/winter collection so we asked the crew in Iceland to tell us a little about their new friends...AXEL PEEMOELLERAxel is not a new character to the Nikita fold. His designs have been seen in previous Nikita collections, like ‘The Sun is up and I’m so Busy Fizzy that I could Burst’ line featured in SS09.

 Nikita is building its first ever flagship store - appropriately in its home city of Reykjavik, the Icelandic capital. It's currently taking shape in a former four story house with a back garden in the heart of the city.

The winner of last season's Nikita Snowboard Clip contest has just been to Iceland to meet the Nikita crew and check out the country's natural wonders. Ashley Thornton from the US won the event and she did this report on her visit:  “So I got a call from my good friend Kari. She had seen that Nikita Clothing was doing a video contest on their web page.

Nikita have been working with Kimi Records in Iceland to make some short movies featuring their new collections. There'll be films where you can check out the next three collections but for now you can check out the spring summer 2009 collection in some cool clips featuring music from Borko, Hjaltalín, Retro Stefson and Morðingjanir.

Nikita have chosen the two girls who will fly to Miami at the beginning of May to take part in their spring summer 2010 streetwear look book. Ana Pereira from Portugal and  Lucie Klecková from the Czech Republic were the lucky winners. Ana lives in Braga, Portugal and loves to live life to the max.

Nikita are looking for a couple of ladies to join them and some of their team riders on their Spring/Summer 2010 photoshoot. It's taking place in Miami in May and they're looking for some girls to join them and be featured in the season's catalogues, websites and adverts.  All you have to do is send in some pictures of yourself as the new Nikita girl.
