Sarah Laird from South America Snow Sessions brings us another report from Bariloche, Argentina.

As I looked out the window and I saw snowflakes the size of alfajores I began to remember that it really is winter.  Sometimes it’s hard to believe that I’m skipping the dreaded heat of summer and living in winter year round.

It was Sunday night and the next storm had arrived.  The mood at dinner was a little bittersweet as the second session was wrapping up and many clients stared out the window with mixed emotions.  All were stoked to see the snowfall but sad that once again the end of SASS had come too quickly.  But at least we got to say goodbye with another fat powder storm.

Sarah Laird from SASS brings us another report from Bariloche, Argentina, where I heard it's been dumping.  I'm jealous.

I did it!  I did it! I did it!  I can’t believe it!  I landed my first back flip! Well, not perfectly but I did land and I did ride away.  So, in my mind it’s legit.

Sarah from SASS brings us another report from Argentina. This time she uses a mutual sweet tooth to get the scoop from pro rider Vera Janssen.

When I signed up for SASS they said I would be riding with pros but everyone makes big promises and hardly delivers.  Of course my cynicism was once again defeated when I sat down for dinner one night and recognized rider Vera Janssen.  On her first day out, while I was having a hard time keeping up, she was dropping cliffs, slaying powder and hiking the backcountry like it was the peak of mid season.

If you're still mulling over your summer camp options, don't forget that the MGT Snowboard Camp girls are doing some special sessions.
