Shaun White made history at the 2012 XGames when he scored a perfect 100 on his third run in the Superpipe finals. It was a victory lap, as well.

Shaun White was on Conan O'Brien sporting a new look...a bun.

Shaun White visited the Tonight Show last night. He talked to Jay Leno about his surf vacation in Maldives, transitioning from snowboarding to skateboarding, the Dew Tour and his new video game.

There was little doubt after Shaun White's first run in the Olympic Halfpipe finals that he would take his second straight gold medal. White went bigger than any other competitor, busting out a run chock full of huge tricks with seemingly little effort. Every rider tried to eclipse White's massive first run, but few would come even close.

As the last competitor, White's victory was assured when fellow American Scotty Lago, who had been bumped from silver medal position on Finn Peetu Piiroinen's second run, fell on his final run.  Lago would finish 3rd.

The second Sprint US Grand Prix event of the season has, thus far, followed the same blueprint as the first. Former Olympic Gold medallists Kelly Clark and Shaun White both dominated the qualifiers heading into today's halfpipe finals.

Clark dominated with this run: frontside air, back 5, front 7 tail, cab 7, indie front 5, indie backside air.

"It's always encouraging being able to make it to the finals having done so well. Being able to be consistent in the qualifiers is a great way to head in to the finals," Clark said. "I'm looking for some consistent results, and it should set me up for a fun week."

Kelly Clark claimed the top spot at the first Olympic qualifying event this season - the US Snowboarding Grand Prix at Copper.  Kelly put down a huge first run of frontside air, backside five, frontside 900, backside air, frontside 700, cab 7.

Clark said, "I was really happy with my first run. I've been working really hard on the fitness side of things and really preparing for this season mentally and physically every way I can. I feel like at this point in the season I'm riding better than I ever have."

Gretchen Bleiler, who had some trouble on her first run, pulled it together on her second to take the second spot. American snowboarders are battling out for a spot on the US Olympic team. The five Grand Prix events will serve as qualifiers.

Remember last spring when we told you about the private half pipe that Red Bull was building Shaun White at Silverton? Well it was all true. It's called Project X and here is the latest video. You can see more about Red Bull Project X at http://www.redbullprojectx.com/.

Well not content with dominating Men's halfpipe competition, Shaun White has gone another step further, teaming up with Red Bull to create a really intriguing new project. Red Bull Project X is a new movie coming out in 2010, featuring Shaun and a secret halfpipe in Silverton, Colorado.

The inaugural 100% Pure Winter Games came to a close last weekend amid wintry weather at Coronet Peak. The closing ceremony marked the end of an exciting 10 days of competition, including ice skating, curling, skiing and of course snowboarding. A mini Winter Olympics of sorts, attracting some of the most elite international athletes.

This new event will be held every two years in the Southern Otago Region of New Zealand, using some of the areas best resorts and facilities. Every 4 years the Winter Games will act as a direct lead up to the Winter Olympics - as it is this year. With over 800 athletes, 40 countries and 37 events, it seems its the start of things to come in the Southern Hemisphere where world class Winter sports events have been few and far between.

A new snowboarding game featuring Shaun White will hit the shelves this autumn.

Shaun White Snowboarding: Road Trip has sold more than 3 million copies worldwide and now Ubisoft Montreal is developing Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage exclusively for the Wii.

No news yet on whether it'll be compatible like the current game but Ubisoft have said that players will be able to hit the slopes of top snowboarding competitions in France, Canada and Japan and also a halfpipe in Times Square, New York.

There's a big gaming conference in LA next week and Ubisoft are expected to release more info there about the game.
