For months, those of us who spend our days in West London have been looking longingly at the shopportunities the massive new Westfield shopping centre will bring. Now the Snowboard Asylum have announced that they're opening a new shop there - hurrah!
The 7000 square feet purpose built store will feature snowboard hardware, clothing and accessories. It opens its doors on October 30 and there's a special guest planned for the launch - more details of that as we get them.
You can find the shopping centre between the White City and Shepherd's Bush tube stations. A new mainline rail station and bus depot is being opened there too.
We’ve been catching up with the people behind the new breed of online snowboard stores catering specifically for us female types. First up we met Adrian Palmer at California-based 
I walked past the site of the new Volcom store earlier this week and they’re making final preparations now for their grand opening, which takes place on Wednesday October 17.
