SNO!Zone

The SNO!zone Snow-Camp Rally in association with SCUK is back - bigger and better than ever! It’s a totally unique skiing and snowboarding fundraising event, where teams of up to 5 people complete an epic 3-day road-trip in a race to ride as many of Britain’s participating dry and indoor slopes as possible. Access to the slopes is free for teams. Each team member has a target of £250 to fundraise for Snow-Camp. The Rally is taking place 19th – 21st November 2010 http://www.snow-camp.co.uk/snowcamprally.

Ed Leigh, one of Snow-Camp’s Patrons says "The SNO!zone Snow-Camp Rally is the closest you'll ever get to the Cannonball run whilst riding all Britain's best artificial slopes. Plus you can say it's all for charity, magic! Baggsy be Burt Reynolds."

SNO!zone gets the Brits bouncing

The Brits 2009 and SNO!zone, the UK's largest indoor snow slope operator, have announced their continued partnership on and off the slopes at this year's Brits when they take the title rights for the SNO!zone British Halfpipe Championships and host the SNO!zone Drum and Bass night in association with Cushe and Metrosnow.co.uk.

As someone who started boarding as a ‘thirtysomething’, not very talented, slow to learn and a bit of a coward, I thought freestyle was not for me. As far as I was concerned jumps and tricks were something done by testosterone fuelled, young men or professional, confident female boarders. How wrong was I?!

Sno!zone real snow slopes at Castleford, Braehead, near Glasgow and Milton Keynes run a Girl’s Academy at each venue once a month. The Academy is designed by women, instructed by women and is exclusively for women (no men allowed).
