A live scoring system may not sound so exciting because really aren't they all live? But Snowboard Live Scoring System (SLS) that was used at the Burton New Zealand Open may totally change the future of snowboarding.

With the soccer (ahem..football) World Cup about to get underway in South Africa, TTR has announced a similar event for snowboarders. The World Snowboarding Championships will take place every four years and will have halfpipe and slopestyle competitions for men and women.

The Roxy Chicken Jam gets under way at Mammoth Mountain today. The competition will determine the overall TTR Women's World Champ. We've got a video edit from TTR previewing the competition.

Kelly Clark didn't make the finals of the  Roxy Chicken Jam slopestyle competition but still managed to walk away $50,000 richer. Twenty-first place was good enough for Clark to surpass erstwhile TTR leader Jamie Anderson and become the Swatch TTR World Champion.“It’s amazing.

The Swatch TTR Women's title all comes down to today. A few days ago we talked about who could win and how, but with just the Roxy Chicken Jam slopestyle to go, the future is clarifying.

Kelly Clark continued her winning season by adding Roxy Chicken Jam Halfpipe Champ to her already long list. Clark is also in good position to claim the Swatch TTR World Champ title with a good performance in the slopestyle on Sunday.“The title would be an amazing bonus to a really great season to me right now” said Kelly Clark.

The Women's Swatch TTR World Tour Champ will be decided this weekend at the Roxy Chicken Jam. Jamie Anderson is currently sitting in first place, but she ruptured her spleen at the US Open last weekend and won't be competing.

The US Open Finals get underway this weekend at Stratton Mountain in Vermont. It's the last big event of the season and will decide the Men's Ticket to Ride Champion. So here's what you need to know whether you're attending in person or just watching the live webcasts. The US Open is more than just a competition.
